Service Learning

A Heartfelt Thank You to UWEC Service Learning Students

At MS-Take Charge, we are proud to have had the privilege of collaborating with the dedicated and talented Service Learning students from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Through their involvement in the MGMT 494 Community Leadership course, these students have played an essential role in supporting our mission of community engagement and nonprofit development.

We deeply value the hands-on learning opportunities that Service Learning provides, as it allows students to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world challenges. This experience not only enriches their academic growth but also helps our organization strengthen its programs and outreach efforts.

Throughout their time with us, the students, under the guidance of Professor Dr. Scott Lester, have shown incredible dedication, creativity, and professionalism. Their leadership in various aspects of our initiatives has been pivotal in advancing MS-Take Charge’s goals and in deepening our connections within the community.

As we reflect on their contributions, we are filled with gratitude for the enthusiasm, commitment, and fresh perspectives that these students bring to our organization. Their work has made a lasting impact, and we are so thankful for their partnership in helping us move forward in our mission.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Professor Dr. Scott Lester and all of the Service Learning students for their invaluable support, leadership, and commitment to service and community engagement.

Thank you for being a vital part of MS-Take Charge's success and for your continued dedication to making a difference.

Meet our Students

MS-Take Charge Logo. A logo featuring bulky letters symbolizing the fatigue and heaviness of living with MS. The angled design reflects the daily uphill battle faced by individuals. The fragmented font serves as a visual metaphor for the breakdown of myelin, illustrating the challenges in nerve signal transmission, while emphasizing the power to proactively take charge of health and well-being.
